TQ-ILM and TQ-ILM-E

ILM - three letters, one technology: the internal rotor motor. TQ has developed the powerful frameless servo motors together with the Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) to withstand the most demanding environments in space. The ILM servo motor series sets unrivaled standards in torque density, precision, quality and reliability, making it our high-end solution in aerospace, but also in the most demanding applications in robotics, industry, medical technology or other areas where the maximum physical limits of quality and torque are required.

With a focus on price-performance, TQ has further perfected the brushless DC motors for industrial applications and thus created a cost-efficient way for you to completely rethink your product, even in large quantities. The result is the ILM-E series. Our innovative winding technology gives our servomotors an outstanding overload capacity compared to conventionally wound motors. Both the ILM and the ILM-E have an orthocyclic winding. This means that the windings of the following wire layers always overlap two windings of the layer below.
